Flexible Packaging Print Solution

Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), flexible metallized films, and labels are widely used for confectionery, snack foods, and other consumer products. When these materials are presented as flat webs or unformed packaging, they are well suited for high-resolution inkjet printing.

Our TIJ and piezo inkjet solutions can print variable information such as production and expiration dates, lot or batch numbers, barcodes, QR codes, logos, and traceability data. The printers can be integrated into packaging and converting lines to apply codes before the film is formed, filled, and sealed.

With the appropriate fast-drying, solvent-based, or UV-curable inks, these systems can produce clear, high-contrast codes on a range of flexible packaging materials. Ink and surface compatibility should be tested for non-porous or treated films.
